SOURCES: Inspiration can come from a whole range of sources: the typographic on the bricklayer’s van, a walk through Beijing’s Forbidden City with all its small vistas, the decorated paving stones in Barcelona, an exhibition on biblical illuminations, the architecture books by Rudofsky et cetera. Niessen & De Vries are inspired most by every-day life, exhibitions, books and travels.
